VTR002 starts with a collaboration between label-boss LX ONE and heavyweight don CIMM, featuring powerful piercing synths and intricate rolling drums that make 'Head Get Spun’ a perfect, murky fusion of both producer's sounds. For the second track, 'Darker Ground', LX ONE combines gritty percussion, sinister pads and evolving atmospheric shots to create serious pressure, the semblance of which truly reflect its name.
